About YouTube Code Typer
YouTube Code Typer is a free tool that types your code onto the screen character by character, exactly as you wrote it. Your coding tutorials and screen recordings look like live coding, without the typos, backspaces, or retakes.
How to use it
- Paste your finished code into the Source Code box.
- Pick a typing speed with the Slow to Fast slider.
- Press F9 to start typing and F9 again to pause. Press F10 to stop. You never have to reach for the mouse, so your cursor stays out of the shot.
- Hide the control panel for a clean frame, then screen record the editor area.
Why use it
- 100% accurate: it types exactly what you pasted, so there are no mistakes to edit out.
- Hands-free: keyboard shortcuts keep your hands and cursor off camera.
- Private: it runs entirely in your browser. Your code is never uploaded anywhere.
- Free: no account, no sign-up, no install.
Who it's for
YouTubers, course creators, and anyone recording coding tutorials, demos, or conference talks who wants clean, believable on-screen typing.
